Alans BMX/Shimano DXR Team Report - BC Nationals Rounds 3 & 4 Burnham

Perfect weather again for the second double-header of the 2009 season. After a not-according-to-plan first rounds we moved up to the 6th in points standings with 4 wins, two 3rds, two 4th and two 5ths for the weekend. Our new rider in 10-12 girls, Jenny Noble, fitted right and and delivered two wins for us :)

Jack Clarke
A brace of 4ths in 11-12 Boys.

Jenny Noble
Our new rider picked her Supercross on Saturday and backed it up with wins both days.

Isabelle Ferrada
3rd both days in 13-15 Girls.

Luke Tamblyn
Won the B final Saturday and backed it up with a 5th in the A final on Sunday. Next stop: Belgium International.

Charlotte Green
Convincing wins both days in Junior Female. Charlie is also off to Belgium next week.

Warren Bancroft
Warren only raced Sunday and still seems to be having problems with his knee that kept him out for the whole of last season.

I recently sold my UL Cruiser but with some different bars & forks so I have these for sale. Bars are SUpercross 5" with DUO grips and forks are Supercross Pro Lt 24". Both have done 4 races only.

We have Jack Clarke's complete DXR/Bombshell 20x x1 3/8" wheels complete with tyres and his 165mm DXR cranks for sale. Both great condition. They are at the shop if you want to have a look at them.

You may have already heard…the AlansTwins both won yesterday at Burnham…Charlotte in Junior Female & 16+
Girls…and Izzy in 13 Boys.

Andy and I have taken photos and will get these to you…in the meantime here is a pic of the twins just before practising for
the first ever 3 Legged BMX race!

Izzy News

Just got a report in Izzy's dad.

Update on Izzy. Raced at the East Anglia Regional at Milton Keynes yesterday 3 May and won all her motos in 13 yr old boys. In the final, she unclipped (just like Derby!) and finished 4th. This unclipping will not happen again! Out of 146 riders, Izzy was
Nominated ‘Rider of the Day’. She absolutely flew all day.
